Services
Services are held in the Sanctuary:
Sunday School classes are at 10:00 AM.
Sunday Morning services are at 11:00 AM.
Nursery services are provided during Sunday School and Morning Worship.
Any additional services will be announced in our bulletin, newsletter, and on our website.
Our Mission
Lexington First Methodist is a caring church. We truly believe that "Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself." Because of our commitment as a church to this command of Christ, we are a busy church. We are intentional about making disciples. We make every attempt to be generous with our time, talents, and gifts.
As individual members, and as a congregation, we are a searching church. Again, we are commanded, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and ye shall find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you." We study, search the Scriptures, and worship together in order to glorify God, to be reconciled to Him through faith in Jesus Christ, and to receive and be led by the Holy Spirit.
We are a church with potential. We believe people living Christian lives will make a positive difference in this community and the world. It is this type of Christian life that we are earnestly seeking.
